Seamless mineral system
Seamless lime-based mineral system, supplied and installed through the FORMMA application system for walls, ceilings, floors and wet areas.
Lime for new applications
Limetech extends the Limecoat material and colour range to horizontal surfaces and areas with higher demands. It is specified as a complete FORMMA system, not as a product applied independently.
Colour and finish
25 colours and made-to-order colours, with a matt finish.
Where to use it.
Suitability by application and substrate. Any conditions are stated.
Suitable for a range of correctly prepared substrates.
Gypsum plaster · Plasterboard · Lime render · Cement render · Concrete · Existing paint · all suitable with preparation.
The Limetech system
Each application has its own build-up. Expand a layer to view the number of coats and its function.
01Substrate
Existing base on which the system is applied.
02Bonding layer×1
Bonds the substrate to the subsequent system layers.
03Base×2
Builds body and evens out the surface.
04Finish×2
Defines the final surface texture and colour.
05Sealer×2
Closes the porosity of the finished surface.
06Protection×1–2
Protects against everyday use and maintains the matt finish.
Applied by hand
Limetech is applied in successive layers. Hand application creates slight variations that form part of the expression of a seamless surface.
Existing structural and movement joints must be maintained.

A surface prepared for use
The system includes a two-component water-based sealer that protects the surface and maintains its matt finish.

Limetech is supplied with installation, applied by a Formma-approved applicator and quoted per m².
The substrate must be sound, clean, dry and correctly prepared. For damaged or contaminated substrates, or where adhesion is uncertain, enquire before specifying.
Seamless mineral coating: Formma Limecoat Limetech, colour Arena 30. Two-component lime-based micromortar with a matt finish, for wall applications. Layered system: substrate, bonding layer, base, finish, sealer, protection. Installed by a Formma-approved applicator, measured and quoted per m². Not suitable for permanent immersion.
